One of my favorite parts of a wedding happens early on, right after the bride gets into her gown. The pacing of a wedding day can be a bit schizophrenic, but this is a time that usually moves in slow motion. Everyone in the room stops what they’re doing to marvel at this woman they love. She’s overwhelmed. She’s never felt so beautiful and loved in her life.

I think my job is very special. It’s a real treat getting to know 30 couples every year. I love telling their stories without words. I love documenting all the nooks and crannies of a wedding day - the hungry ring bearer eager to eat, the bride and groom holding hands around a corner.

All the little moments add up to one very eventful day, and no one or two people could possibly experience or document it all, but that doesn’t stop us from trying.
