Hi Emily:
Your work is really wonderful. You have a talent for capturing moments, feelings, and beauty. Bravo!
We are working with our friend Ethan Geyer on graphic and website design for our new restaurant opening in Fayetteville, WV. You documented his wedding at the Confluence Resort last summer- beautiful work! At his suggestion, we have been thinking about doing some food shots for the webpage, and he mentioned seeing if this is an avenue you may be interested in pursuing.
I know you are busy (wedding season, senior portraits, etc) but maybe you could just drop me a line and let me know if food is something you’re even interested in photographing.
Thanks for your time!

Hey Emily it’s Erin Cook again … My mom and I have a few questions before we set a date. As I said before it will be me and my twin Katie at the same time. Would the total price be $450 or would it be $450 each? Also, would we each have 3-4 outfit changes or 2 each. Would we have 25 final pictures each or would we split that? Let me know when you can, Thank you!
Emily-
I got your card from Pervis and I am a big fan of the work that I have seen of yours. I have three kids and would love to have photographs of them at the confluence. Please let me know details and if weekend availability works for you. I have looked at your schedule and would love to schedule something. Thank you, Tracy
Hi Emily. I love visiting your website. Please let your clients know its wonderful that they share so much of their lives in your photos.
I’m writing about the Secret Sandwich Society in Fayetteville. We had some light correspondence earlier this spring, and discussed having you do a shoot for our website.
We’re doing a monthly (or more if it grows) Supper Club at the restaurant. It’s the last weekend of the month (July was a Monday, I think for August it will be on the 29th- Sunday). For July we served the following:
Appetizers: Marinated olives in orange, red pepper, and parsley
Crostini with Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, and green apple
an Amuse Buche of Roasted Eggplant and Walnut Mousse
1.Poached egg, Caviar, Asparagus, and Black Pepper/Parmesan Bread
2.Tomato-Peach Bread Salad with Peach Jam and Oven Dried Tomatoes
3.Duck with a duo of melons, Potato Confit
4.Grilled Hanger Steak, pickled red onion, Arugula Gremolata
5.Individual Blueberry Tartlette with Homemade Cinnamon Ice Cream
August’s Menu is underway, but not yet released.
If you are available, and/or interested, we’d love to have you shoot on a Supper Club day. If I am understanding your website information correctly, your fee is $300/shoot, but I don’t know if that changes for out of town location. If you’re interested in dining with us, I’d love it if you and your boyfriend would come to the Supper Club, and we could do a trade for business- we normally charge $75/person, so we could have you two eat and shoot some photos, and then we’d pay $150 for your time, but trade for the dinner. Does that make sense? If you are interested in this at all, please let me know.
If this doesn’t sound like something you’re interested in, we’ll find another time to have you come do a shoot. I love your work, and am looking forward to seeing you document food!
Thanks for you time, sorry for the extra-long email ![]()
