About

Short and sweet:

27 years old, born and raised in West Virginia, studied design at Ohio University, started shooting portraits and weddings professionally in 2009.

Long and oversharey:

I’m a cat lover and cupcake fiend. Bobby (my husband, co-shooter, and office manager) says that I’m just like Barney — I want to be friends with everyone.
My favorite part of this job is spending time with new people and documenting them as they become comfortable around me and my camera.
My second favorite part is using my design background to create custom album layouts. I really love using your photos to tell a story with clean and timeless designs.
My third favorite part of this job is getting to work alongside my husband every day.

I love Facebook and update our business page there regularly.
I love that people hire us not because we take pretty pictures, but because we love the people we work with and we love documenting the story of their day.

For photographers:

Our camera system of choice is Nikon. I use a D3s and Bobby shoots with a D700. I like shooting with my prime lenses (24mm f/1.4G, 35mm f/1.4G and f/2, 50mm f.1.4G, 85mm f/1.4) but also have a few zooms (24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8).

I believe “take photos. all the time. of everything.” is the answer to a lot of questions I get asked.
